Ch-ch-ch-changes
Just about three years ago, I caught my first glimpse at the amazing, magical project that would become Perplex City. I've had some of the best times of my life on this project. I've been fortunate to have caught the lightning-in-a-bottle exhilaration of being part of something wonderful and bigger than you twice, now, and I've come to love my colleagues, my players, and the City itself more than I would ever have guessed I could.
Well, all good things must come to an end, right?
So it's with a heavy heart that I announce that I'm leaving Mind Candy. I'll miss the team, I'll miss the players, and oh, I'll miss the City with all of my heart. Don't be surprised if I get a little sentimental and nostalgic on these pages over the next few weeks.
I'm not sure yet what my plans are. This seems like one of those two-roads-diverged-in-a-yellow-wood sorts of moments, and I need to do some good, hard thinking. But hey, if you have any ideas for me, drop me a note.
Sorry to see it come to this. However, I hope you will land into some other exciting field of creative work -- you deserve it.

Thanks for the kind words. :) I'm not sure why, but I do have this sort of unjustifiable confidence that it's all going to work out OK for me. Maybe it's just the idea of working from a clean slate again; as much as I love my city, sometimes a change is nice.

The unjustifiable confidence is totally justified! I'm sure you'll stroll into something just as rewarding (although maybe not quite as cool!).

Hi Andrea, thank you for the fun and good times that you and the team have brought into our lives in the last three years. I hope that you find something as exciting to get involved with. In the meantime, enjoy the summer.
